Budapest ML Forum – Call For Presentations (CFP)

About the conference

The Budapest ML Forum aims to provide an overview of the current trends in data science and artificial intelligence. We welcome talks on new ML methods and technologies, case studies and best practices. This two-day international conference will be held this year in hybrid format, consisting of one in-person day and one online day.

Key topics 

Focus topics for this year are:

  • Computer Vision 
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Infrastructure for AI 
  • Data Science tools and methods
  • Machine learning case studies
  • Business and AI (AI strategy, leadership, organization, best practices)

Presentations related to other areas of data science and ML are also welcomed.

Type and length of talks

The first day of the conference is planned to take place in Budapest with in-person participation. The second day will be held entirely online. The application is open for both days, online and in-person program as well. Please provide your preferences on the registration form.

The standard presentations are 25 minutes long and the short presentations are 10 minutes long. Hungarian and English presentations are also welcomed.

Some common presentation types:

  • Technology Presentations: These presentations showcase software and technologies relevant to the conference topics at beginner or advanced levels.
  • Case Studies: Presentation of an ongoing or completed project.
  • Tips, ideas, advice: Best practices and methods for solving different problems in connection with data, experience sharing.

You can submit more than one talk on different topics, if you wish.

Application

The submission deadline expired on March 20, 2022.

However, the Program Committee may, on a case-by-case basis, accept late applications for a few days.

Call for Presentations Application Form

The received applications will be evaluated by the program committee of the conference. The results will be notified to the applicants by e-mail.
